Important update for importers

The Ghana Standards Authority has launched the Ghana Conformity Assessment Programme (GCAP) in Accra.

The Programme aims at preventing the import of unsafe, sub-standard and/or counterfeit goods, protecting the health and safety of consumers as well as the environment and also avoiding a situation where the domestic market becomes a dumping ground for non-conforming products.

The Programme facilitates customs clearance and ensures that the importer does not pay anything for this service.
