Portside visited South Africa, witnessed the opening of Hapag-Lloyd Ghana and meet Portside at Breakbulk Europe

Recently Portside International connected with clients by paying them a visit. Bas de Vaal visited both Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa and was invited to the opening of a new office from Hapag-Lloyd in Tema, Ghana. Bas visited South Africa where he met up with Radio Holland in Cape Town to catch up on all the new products they are offering. Portside is agent for Radio Holland and can offer the full scale of services in Tema they provide worldwide. Bas also had the opportunity to meet up with Multilog in South Africa. We have been working on various shipments together for both import and export cargoes. Last but not least, he was invited to enjoy a big, delicious BBQ. It was good to relate with everyone again.

Opening office Hapag-Lloyd in Ghana

Bas de Vaal witnessed the opening of a new office from Hapag-Lloyd in Tema, Ghana. Africa is strongly developing, so Hapag-Lloyd decided to open a new office to benefit from this growth. Since Hapag-Lloyd uses our services to store containers in our yard, Bas was invited to join the official opening.

From the 29th to the 31st of May, Portside is reinforcing its presence at Breakbulk Europe in Bremen, Germany. Breakbulk is serving as the networking hub for industry professionals who do business in Europe. People can connect with cargo owners, freight forwarders, ocean carriers and more.
